The plant will make bedroom and living room furniture. Some of the 300 boxes of food and clothing brought to indigent persons in Humphreys County a delegation from Houston, was unfit for distribution, Belzoni Mayor H. H.

Mrs. Bessie Porter Mrs. Bessie Porter, 85, wife of the late Arthur Porter, died yesterday at Shelby County Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home, with graveside services in Hughes Cemetery, Forrest City, at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Porter was a member Greenland Heights Methodist st Church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Horace (Irene) Berryman of Memphis and Mrs. Silena May of West Memphis; sons, Robert Porter, Lawrence Corbit and Cornelius Corbitt, all of Memphis, and 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Oliver of Memphis and Mrs. Tennie Marger of Nashville.

Two Men, Mother of Four, Held in $1.5 Million Theft BOSTON. (UPI) Three persons an attractive blonde mother of four and two men who earlier had designated themselves as chief suspects in the crime were arrested Monday night in the $1.5 million Plymouth mail robbery, the nation's largest cash holdup. Charged with armed robbery of mail matter and government property and putting in jeopardy the lives of postal employes by use of a dangerous weapon were: John J. Kelley, 51, of Watertown, once allegedly named by postal officials as the "mastermind" of the robbery; R. Richards, 41, of Weymouth, whose home was torn apart and his backyard and patio dug up as officials hunted for clues; and Mrs.

Patricia Diaferio, 32, of Boston's Roslindale Section. Kelley and Richards, accompanied by defense attorney F. Lee Bailey when they appeared before U.S. Commissioner Francis H. Farell, were released in $25,000 bail apiece.

Mrs. Hooker was the widow of Thomas B. Hooker, an insurance executive. She was was the daughter of a former governor of Tenneslate Malcolm R. Patterson.

She lived at 1837 Galloway and was a member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. She leaves a son, Walter J. Hooker, a sister, Mrs. Mary Gardner Phillips, and a brother, Ham Patterson, all of Memphis, and two other sons, Thomas B. Hooker Jr.

of Lookout Mountain, and Col. Malcolm P. Hooker of Hampton, Va. Mrs. Susie Nelson Mrs.

Susie B. Nelson, 69, of 1253 Prescott, widow of John Nelson, died at 4:42 a.m. today at Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Nelson, a Methodist, formerly lived at Helena, where her husband was a circulation department employe of The Commercial Appeal.

She three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Rives and Mrs. Josephine Edwards, Memphis, and Mrs. W. B.
