How To Make Burrito Seasoning

  1. To make this recipe have all the ingredients ready. This seasoning recipe calls for a little heat. You can use either Cayenne pepper or hot Chili powder.
  2. Be aware that there is a different Chili powder used in American recipes which is usually a spice mix in itself whereas in Europe Chili powder is a one ingredient hot spice.
  3. So, if you have hot chili powder in your kitchen pantry you can use it else use Cayenne pepper or chili flakes.
  4. Put all of the measured spices in a bowl and stir it through. Stir for at least a minute to make certain all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

How To Store Burrito Seasoning

The best way to store this burrito spice mix is in a glass jar. You can use small glass spice jars or small plastic food containers. Store the spice blend in a dry and dark place like your pantry or a kitchen cabinet or pantry for at least 6 months.

Do not store it in direct sunlight, on a radiator, or near a stovetop. When you store spice blends in direct sunlight or heat the seasoning will turn hard and change color.

This affects the shelf life of your seasoning and the taste.
