Easy bread kulfi recipe is a quick and yummy kulfi you can make with leftover bread slices. This kulfi tastes exceptionally delicious and you will not taste bread in this. An easy dessert option for you to make during summers.
If you love making homemade frozen treats, this bread kulfi is a best bet for you. I usually make this kulfi when I have just few slices of white bread left. It tastes wonderfully creamy with rich texture that you would not believe there is bread in this kulfi.
Kulfi is a frozen Indian dessert similar to ice cream but more dense, creamy and no churning involved in preparation. If you want to make an impressive dessert without toiling in kitchen for long time,do try this easy kulfi recipe. It hardly takes 15 minutes to prepare the mixture + freezing time and your delicious bread kulfi is ready.
By using bread in this kulfi recipe you an cut short the cooking time very much. There is no need to stir and stir to thicken the milk. You can easily get that rich and grainy texture of authentic kulfi by suing bread slices.
You can flavor this kulfi as you like. I have make this bread kulfi as traditional kesar badam kulfi. You can also make mango flavored kulfi, malai kulfi, paan kulfi or thandai kulfi with bread.
Serve bread kulfi chilled topped with nuts. You can make this ahead and serve cold as required.

Hi Harini,
In the recipe you talk about using cream.
Is heavy whipping cream the same as cream ?Always get confused so asking.
Thanks!
AmritaHarini says
Hi Amrita,no heavy whipping cream is different from normal cream, here in India we get only one type of cream, low fat cream that you can whip to certain extent, if you are asking to make this kulfi you can use any cream but no need to whip the cream
