Wilkowski, one of the principals in the recount fraud six years ago, was sought Saturday by investigators for the Prosecutor's office on the complaint of Labor's NonPartisan League that Wilkowski had published 20,000 pamphlets identical with their slate in the recent election except that the name of a candidate other than the League's had been substituted. The office involved was that of State Highway Commissioner.
The League supported G. Donald Kennedy but the pamphlets attributed to Wilkowski bore the name of Leroy C. Smith. Chief Assistant Prosecutor Julian G. McIntosh said he contemplated seeking a warrant against Wilkowski charging him with publishing and circulating malicious, false and scurrilous matter about a candidate for public office.
Stanley Rozycki, manager of the Fireside Printing 4728 St. Aubin, identified Wilkowski's ture as that of the man who had given him the order for the pamphlets. Visiting Judge Sends 5 to Jail Judge Mark D. Taylor, of the Hillsdale Circuit Court, Saturday opened a term as a visiting judge in Detroit's Traffic Court by cracking down on several violators, sending five to jail, Seventeen year old William Blyth, of 1443 McKinstry, Friday scraped fenders with a car at Junction and Fort and, to cover up, reported that his car had been stolen the accident. For making to police, before, Judge Taylor sent Blyth to the Detroit House of Correction for 30 days.
Arthur Stein, 30, of 52 Piquette, was sentenced to 90 days for leaving the scene of an accident. Stein was fined $100. Judge Taylor also sentenced two also, men to twenty-day terms on drunk driving charges. They were Albert E. Baldwin, 36, of 3992 Eighteenth, and Stanley Yoakum, 36, of the Tuxedo Hotel, Dearborn.

Hildebrand, secretary-manager of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents, it was announced Saturday by Clarence E. Wormuth, conference executive secretary. An attendance of approximately 5,000 delegates, representing Hildebrand industrial concerns, police organizations, road commissions and trade associations, is expected for the conference, which will be held May 20 to 22 in Hotel BookCadillac.
The Detroit Junior Board of Commerce's forthcoming School of Human Relations, Personality Development and Salesmanship, to be conducted by Dale Carnegie, will include as heterogeneous a student body as any school is likely to present. A cross section of the roll includes several housewives, a janitor, salesmen, stenographers, executives and the vice president of one of Detroit's big corporations. The school, according to Gilbert F. Dittmer, president of the Detroit Junior Board of Commerce, will include in its faculty, besides Carnegie, Richard C. Borden, an authority on salesmanship training, and Franklin L.
Bettger, one of the country's highest be paid insurance salesmen. It will held April 21 to 25, inclusive, in the General Motors Building Auditorium, Elementary and advanced typing and shorthand courses will be offered for the first time next fall by the College of Commerce and Finance of the University of Detroit, according to an announcement by Dean L. E. Fitzgerald. The new program is a response to student requests and will include practical office training and a special course in dictation transcription.
Under the new setup students will be able to earn a minor in secretarial science. Advanced courses will have as their prerequisites either the elementary courses or a placement test. The program is expected to make it possible for students to qualify for the teaching of these subjects in high school. "Recent Trends in the Development of Analytical Chemistry" will be title of a talk by D. N.
H. Furman, of Princeton University, to be given before the Detroit Section of the American Chemical Society Monday night at the DetroitLeland Hotel. The general will begin at 8 o'clock, preceded by a social hour at 6 and dinner at 6:45. Approximately 300 law alumni are expected to attend the second annual reunion of graduates of the School of Law of the University of Detroit at Webster Hall next Saturday night, Edward P. Echlin, general chairman of the party, announced Saturday.

Mr. Johnson was born in Union City 70 years ago and spent his life as a farmer at Gains, where he died Friday. He was well known as a piano and voice teacher. Survivors are his wife, Effie Stanton Johnson; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Riley, of Bellair; two brothers, Leon of Detroit, and Glenn, of Union City, and three grandsons.

Mr. Stevenson, former Detroiter who was prominent in the automobile industry, died Friday. GULF SCREEN CHILD THEATER GULF Judge Charles C. Simons, of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, will address the Amity dinner of the Detroit Round Table of Protestants, Jews and Catholies Tuesday, April 22, at the Masonic Temple, Howard C. Baldwin, one of the co-chairmen of the dinner, announced Saturday. Re presentatives of religious, civic, labor and nationality groups Judge Simons will attend the dinner, and Baldwin said that if it is successful, the event will be made annual. Other co-chairmen of the affair are Henry Wineman and M.
Hubert O'Brien. More than 75 organizations have sent representatives to the two planning meetings, and hundreds of dinner reservations have been received. The final planning meeting will be held at 4 p. m. Tuesday in Mayor Jeffries' office.

Rowe, representative, announced the Former noncommissioned officers of the 182nd Field Artillery, a Michigan National Guard regiment, will give a farewell party for present members of the regiment next Tuesday at the American Legion Home, Cass and Lafayette.
